CORPORATE FINANCE/VALUATION ANALYST INTERN

• Agency services: Aether operates in the private debt and capital markets, covering all agency roles: loan agent, bond agent, administrative agent, calculation agent, security agent, etc.
• Valuation and calculation: Aether provides valuations of all types of financial instruments and securities, from the most vanilla to the most highly structured products for recurring, specific or one-off needs.
• Corporate and Issuer Services: Aether offers an entire range of digital solutions for administrative management of corporate actions, such as capital increase, general meetings, registrar, etc.).
• M&A Agency: Aether manages the M&A process from deal signing through post-closing, ensuring seamless transition and expert execution.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Corporate Finance / Valuation Analyst Intern at Aether, you will work closely with the Valuation and Calculation team on various pricing and valuation assignments, including:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pricing and calculations related to financial instruments on a daily/weekly basis.
• Perform daily valuations and calculations of structured derivative instruments.
• Valuate structured equity products such as preferred shares and warrants.
• Valuate fixed income securities and derivatives, including bonds and swaps.
• Conduct valuations and calculations related to collateralized loans.
• Participate in corporate valuation missions, including modelling of financial instruments.
• Prepare client reports and pricing outputs.
• Engage in day-to-day client interactions and research projects.
• You will also contribute to all aspects of marketing development at AFS:
  
  • Assist in marketing periodic valuation services to existing clients and prospects.
  • Participate in market research, pitching, and meetings
  • Help prepare marketing campaign materials.

If you possess IT skills (VBA, Python, BDD), it will be advantageous as you expand our tools and dedicated client interaction software, including those used for the valuation of securities portfolios or incentive plans.

In this position, you will gain direct client exposure across a wide range of capital markets settings, including ECM/DCM, derivatives, LBOs, and public M&A. You will interact with issuers, financial and legal advisors, and investors, building trust through careful execution and becoming a driving force for the growth of our business.

YOUR PROFILE  

• You are highly motivated, entrepreneurial, independent, and hungry to learn, you are looking to move into a fast-growing area of financial services,
• You can contribute your sound ability to read financial (ex. Terms and Conditions) and corporate documentation (ex. Annual Reports, research reports) and extract relevant information, and to comprehend and model complex financial products.
• You are also genuinely curious about corporate clients and their businesses,
• You have a Bac+4/5 (or more) gained at a leading university or « grandes écoles,
• Finance background with an interest in information systems and project management,
• Quantitative skills and familiar with statistics / probabilities,
• A first experience in Finance (capital markets) would be a plus,
• Strong skills with the Pack Office(Excel),  IT Skills in Python, Excel(VBA), BDD is a plus.
• You are fluent in French and have a solid practice of English.

‍CONTRACT START DATE: Mid-June 2026

LOCATION: Paris 8th.

DURATION OF THE INTERNSHIP: 6 months

QUALIFICATION: Bac+5 (or plus): student focusing on capital markets finance at a renowned university or business school or engineering school. With CFA certification or equivalent (preferably) INTERNSHIP AGREEMENT REQUIRED.
