JOB DESCRIPTION

Aether Financial Services is seeking an Associate (3 to 4 years of experience) to join its Agency Private Debt team.

The agent, in financing operations (banking or bond-related), acts as the intermediary between banks/investors and companies. Previously internalized within banks and investment funds, these functions have benefited from a significant trend towards outsourcing, contributing to the rapid growth of our organization. The agent ensures the proper execution of contracts signed between the various parties in several capacities:

• Ensure the comprehensive preparation and formatting of documents related to the project, including their integration into the internal management tool ARTUR PRO,
• Interact with companies and investors for the legal, financial, and administrative monitoring of files under your responsibility,
• Perform calculations related to your portfolio (coupons, early repayments, etc.) and supervise the portfolio of analysts under your oversight,
• Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients or partners,
• Engage in resolutions or anticipate delicate situations regarding a file by proposing, subject to your superior's approval, potential solutions if necessary,
• Draft and be responsible for the writing of notices and other documents related to the projects under your responsibility, ensuring compliance with both content and form, particularly with respect to timelines,
• Contribute to the updating and development of ARTUR PRO in terms of functionality, and propose improvements to associated processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Actively participate in and manage waivers, general meetings, or more generally, decisions made by investors/lenders concerning the cases under your responsibility.
• Adhere to the processes, nomenclatures, etc., established by the company.

YOUR PROFILE

You are:

• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and independent,
• Methodical and particularly organized.

You have:

• 3 to 4 years of experience,
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, particularly in understanding financial contracts,
• Previous experience in agency, private debt, capital markets, or corporate finance,
• A sensitivity to legal matters is a plus,
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
• Excellent command of English.
• Other languages: German/Spanish highly desirable.
