Agency services

Aether Financial Services operates in the private debt and capital markets, covering all agency roles: loan agent, bond agent, administrative agent, calculation agent, paying agent, security agent, etc.

Valuation and calculation

Aether Financial Services provides independent valuations of all types of financial instruments and securities, from the most vanilla to the most highly structured products for recurring, specific or one-off needs.

Corporate and Issuer Services 

Aether Financial Services offers a set of constantly evolving value-added services dedicated to managing the life of financial transactions based on proprietary digital solutions “VOX AEQUITAS” (capital increase or subscription, general meeting, registrar, record keeping, management package implementation, etc.).

JOB DESCRIPTION

To support its development, AFS is creating a position at its LONDON office for the Business Development Director of the AGENCY CAPITAL MARKETS activity to accelerate its growth in the UK and abroad.

Reporting directly to the company’s General Management, your missions after a familiarization phase with the specificities of the Company’s offers will be:

  • Depending on your experience, you will take the measure of the services offered by Aether FS in the CAPITAL MARKET Agency field to formalize and define the priority development axes, the associated targets and the corresponding commercial discourse,
  • By taking responsibility for the development of this activity, your mission will consist in formalizing the communication/marketing supports to promote Aether FS’s offers while also being a force of proposal on the essential evolutions to be considered to reinforce our positioning on the market in terms of offers and services,
  • In relation with the Communication Department, you will take responsibility for formalizing the formats of the supports and actions to support the development of the activity: blog, articles, webinars, events,..
  • You will be a driving force in the coordination and a field actor in the realization of the development actions of the offers and this activity vis-à-vis the identified targets by relying both on existing customer contacts and on new targets,
  • In a first step, you will also have a very involved role in the management and steering of certain projects to reinforce your operational understanding of the proposed services and thus enable an enhanced understanding of the strengths and optimization points,
  • By your position, you will be in close relation with the other Business Unit Directors to maximize the sharing of information as well as joint development opportunities and synergies,
  • You will ensure regular reporting and an adequate monthly point to the General Management linked to your position, and the progress of the actions carried out and to be undertaken to achieve the development objectives, notably in terms of customer follow-up and commercial proposals,
  • You will ensure regular monitoring of market elements, regulatory developments that may impact, influence or support the company’s activities in the UK as well as in other key European countries.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 8 to 10 years minimum experience in the Capital Markets with a proven experience in Business Development towards the Financial and/or Legal Departments of Issuers as well as Investment Funds or Law Firms,
  • Strong operational knowledge of UK Capital Markets and their functioning (technical, regulatory and legal),
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, independent, and hungry to grow in a favorable environment,
  • The willingness to take operational control of the development of an activity with all the commercial, marketing and field management challenges within the framework of a strong strategic will,
  • A proven sensitivity to digital tools and innovative solutions,
  • Proven experience in the operational management of projects involving different actors in the Capital Market universe,
  • Proficient in Office 360,
  • Fluent in English, another European language (German, Dutch, Spanish) is expected,
  • Good interpersonal skills / likes to work in a team,
  • Accountability and sense of customer relationship, autonomy.
